Our Dance Studio offers a large variety of dance classes for all skill levels. Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping each dancer achieve their highest potential, while also having as much fun as possible. PRESCHOOL DANCE CLASS
Mondays, January 8th - May 20th, 2024

The primary goal is to foster a love of movement. The creative component is quite large. Several fun or special activities happen in each class. For example, a scarf or flag dance at the end can facilitate the dancer's own physical expression. Taking part in dancing out a narrative helps children to understand that dancing is expression. It is a means of communicating feelings and actions.

PRE-BALLET DANCE CLASS

Pre-Ballet is an introduction to a formal ballet class. While still nurturing their imagination and creativity, ballet technique is first introduced at the barre. Students will develop ballet vocabulary and musical rhythm through barre and center work. Ballet barre with warm up exercises will be taught. Terminology for simple ballet steps, musicality, grace and coordination are developed through positive reinforcement.

DANCESPORT (BALLROOM) CLASSES

This dance class focused on basic dance technique of DanceSport (Ballroom dances). It is not a technique based class. Students will learn short dances and moves appropriate for DanceSport that enhance cognitive and social development and prepare them for further DanceSport training.
NO Partner NEEDED!

MOMMY & ME DANCE
Ages 18 - 30 months old

An introduction to the art of ballet in a nurturing environment. Children and parents begin to explore the world of dance through movement, music, and rhythm. Shake, rattle and roll to the rhythms of classical music, popular nursery rhythms, and much more. Your toddler will discover the joy of dancing together creating a bond to last a lifetime. Daddies are welcome!

TAP DANCE
Ages 5-6 and 7-up

This class is a favorite among many of our students. Everyone loves the opportunity to explore the new dance moves taught in this class, while also mastering the classic moves.
